Purchasing a property from a government body like the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) should come with a guarantee of security. When that authority fails to deliver, the legal system provides a powerful remedy.
Our client successfully bid for a premium corner site via an online auction, paid the full amount, and completed the registration. Despite this, MUDA failed to hand over physical possession of the property. The client was left in a legal limbo—owning a property on paper that they could not access in reality.
We escalated the matter to the High Court, filing a Writ Petition followed by a Writ Appeal. We argued that the authority’s failure to deliver the site constituted a gross breach of contract and a violation of the buyer’s rights.
The High Court ruled in favor of our client, delivering a resounding judgment. The court ordered MUDA to pay double the original amount in compensation. This transformed a ₹15 Lakh investment into a ₹30 Lakh settlement, ensuring the client was more than compensated for the delay and frustration.
Our clients trust us for clear, reliable legal guidance backed by experience and integrity. We focus on delivering proven results through strategic thinking and dedicated representation.
